Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval Roars into its 55th Year with Spectacular Season Opener!
Wenatchee, WA – March 6, 2025 – Racing fans, start your engines! Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval (WVSO), the fastest quarter-mile track in the Northwest, is set to launch its 2025 season opener on Saturday, April 19th, 2025. This special event marks 55 years of adrenaline-pumping action at one of the region’s most beloved racing venues.
This year’s season opener is shaping up to be an unforgettable night of high-speed competition, featuring top-tier drivers and multiple racing divisions battling for victory under the lights. Fans can expect an electrifying lineup, including the $2,500 to win Tommy Wentz Classic Presented by the Wentz Family and Friends for the Dick’s Heating and Air Conditioning Thunder Cars as they will be joined by the Tri-State Challenge Series Hobby Stocks. Also racing will be the Rockstar Energy B-Mods, Plumb Perfect Roadrunners, B&T Towing Youth Roadrunners and Apple Valley Pumping Crown Vics. The evening will also feature special on-track ceremonies honoring the track’s rich history of those who have made WVSO a cornerstone of short-track racing in the Northwest.
“Celebrating 55 years of racing in the Wenatchee Valley is an incredible milestone,” said WVSO General Manager Jeremy Anders. “We’re thrilled to kick off the 2025 season with an action-packed night that will bring together past, present, and future racing stars. Gates will open at 4:30 PM, with racing action set to begin at 6:00 PM. Tickets are available now at wvso.com, with special discounts for advance purchases.
