February 21 - February 22
Eastmont Winter Classic
February 21 through February 22, 2026
To register, please register your team on Tourney Machine website.
The long standing “Eastmont Winter Classic” is an official one of the last chance tournaments to qualify for the Washington AAU State Tournament to be held in Spokane on March 7 through March 9 (girls) and March 14 through March 16 (boys). All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Washington
Scores will be updated on the Tourney Machine application. All teams will need to provide a score keeper for each game so we can check scoresheets if there is a discrepancy in the reporting.
T-shirts will be sold at Eastmont Junior High School. They are silk screened while you wait. You get to design your items by choosing from a variety of decals, shirts, sweatshirts, sweat pants, etc.
Tournament Rules
Regular Washington High School Boys Rules except for the following:
- 2- 20-minute running clock periods. (Clock will stop the last two minutes of period 2 unless 15 pt. lead, except 3rd & 4th grade 10 pt)
- No Shot clocks. (Coaches need to agree not to delay… The people running the scorers table will help with this, and a 30 second violation will be called if a team does not get a shot off in 30 seconds due to delaying. Please regulate this yourselves… it will make it easier on everybody. If a team is delaying, the people running the scorers table will make sure that 30 seconds is called. (If during a game a team goes over the 30 seconds, but it was not delaying… that will not be a 30 second violation. Ex. Ball tipped away, team just has an ugly possession that takes them a while to get a shot off… you can start counting 5, 4, 3, 2 for your own team to make them put something up if this happens.)
- There will be a 10 second count in back court.
- No backcourt press, once a 15-point lead has been obtained 5-8 grade. 10 Point Lead 4th grade. NO pressing in 3rd grade!
- No Zones allowed in 3rd and 4th grade. No one can be camped out in the key, but kids can play help side defense. The ball can be double, and triple teamed once across mid-court!
- 3rd & 4th grade will be allowed to step in one full step from free-throw line when shooting free-throws, but they can’t rebound their own shot.
- Teams will get 2 time-outs per half. They do not carry over. 1 Time-out per overtime.
