June 12-14: Mission Ridge is the site of the 1st Annual Mission:GranDuro mountain bike race Saturday. It’s a 40+ mile route that starts & ends at Mission Ridge. That will be followed Sunday by the Mission:RunDuro, a 15 mile trail run, also at the Ridge.

Wenatchee Youth Baseball s hosting an 11 team 9u, 10u tournament this weekend at Morris Little League Park, while Eastmont has its Apple Capital 11u, 12u tourney at the Eastmont Community 4-Plex. In softball play, the Men’s Grip It & Rip It 26 team tournament is at Walla Walla Point Park, while the 9 team Riverball Women’s Tournament is at Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park.
There’s Evergreen Premier League Soccer action at Mike Hollis Field at the WVC campus Saturday as Wenatchee FC meets Vancouver. Also, the 30th Annual Cusick Cup Tennis Tournament is at the WRAC Saturday and Sunday. And the public is invited to attend Everybody Out(doors) Day Saturday from 9-3 at Pybus Public Market. Local clubs, groups and businesses will have seminars, workshops and fun activities for all ages.
