SUMMARY:Thursday Night Drags – MRST
DESCRIPTION:Weeks 2 – 5:  Feb. 4\, 11\, 18\, 25:\n\nThe team captain must submit the weekly 4-person team roster (who is racing for points that night) by Tuesday at 12pm of the week of racing (i.e. Tuesday the 30st for racing Thursday the 1st).\nAll competitors on your team may race for a time! However\, only the four rostered competitors for that week will compete for race points.\n Email weekly rosters to:  info@mrst.us\nLast minute changes to a roster will be accepted at the discretion of the race organizer. There will be NO substitutions at the start.\nRacers will be paired by times. Each racer will get one timed run in each course (red course / blue course).\nRacing starts at 6:30pm sharp!\nStick around in the lodge after racing for drink specials\, weekly race results\, fun drawings\, and swag giveaways!

SUMMARY:2027 Rails & Ales
DESCRIPTION:Centennial Park will transform into a winter playground for all ages. From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.\, enjoy Family Snow Play Experiences in Centennial Park! Mission Ridge Ski + Board Resort enhances the fun by dumping fresh snow in the park\, where their ski school offers a chance to test out skis and snowboards. The Wenatchee River Institute also provides snowshoes for visitors to try\, adding to the winter adventure. Attendees 21+ are welcome to explore various beer gardens with craft brews from Pinnacle Beerworks\, Timberline Brewing\, and Hellbent Brewing. \nThe highlight of the day is the epic rail jam competition – the largest annual rail jam competition in the U.S. – taking over Orondo Ave. in downtown Wenatchee. Mission Ridge Ski + Board Resort will deliver truckloads of snow for skiers and snowboarders to showcase their tricks. The competition kicks off at 4:30 p.m.\, with cash prizes up to $1\,000. The night continues in Centennial Park with the awards presentation at 8 p.m. \nThis year’s zero-waste initiative is in partnership with Sustainable NCW and Wenatchee Valley Rotary clubs. Waste stations staffed by volunteers will help attendees sort compost\, recycling\, and trash into special containers provided by Wenatchee Confluence Rotary\, which will be sorted into designated dumpsters from Winton MFG Compost Works and WM\,ensuring that materials are properly processed. Food vendors and breweries will exclusively use CMA – certified compostable supplies. This initiative reinforces Wenatchee’s commitment to sustainability and the mission of Visit Wenatchee’s Show Love For This Place campaign.
