SUMMARY:2026 Eastmont Winter Classic - AAU Basketball
DESCRIPTION:Eastmont Winter Classic\n\nFebruary 21 through February 22\, 2026\nTo register\, please register your team on Tourney Machine website. \nThe long standing “Eastmont Winter Classic” is an official one of the last chance tournaments to qualify for the Washington AAU State Tournament to be held in Spokane on March 7 through March 9 (girls) and March 14 through March 16 (boys). All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Washington \nScores will be updated on the Tourney Machine application. All teams will need to provide a score keeper for each game so we can check scoresheets if there is a discrepancy in the reporting. \nT-shirts will be sold at Eastmont Junior High School. They are silk screened while you wait. You get to design your items by choosing from a variety of decals\, shirts\, sweatshirts\, sweat pants\, etc. \nTournament Rules\nRegular Washington High School Boys Rules except for the following: \n\n2- 20-minute running clock periods.  (Clock will stop the last two minutes of period 2 unless 15 pt. lead\, except 3rd & 4th grade 10 pt)\nNo Shot clocks.  (Coaches need to agree not to delay… The people running the scorers table will help with this\, and a 30 second violation will be called if a team does not get a shot off in 30 seconds due to delaying.  Please regulate this yourselves… it will make it easier on everybody.  If a team is delaying\, the people running the scorers table will make sure that 30 seconds is called. (If during a game a team goes over the 30 seconds\, but it was not delaying… that will not be a 30 second violation.  Ex. Ball tipped away\, team just has an ugly possession that takes them a while to get a shot off… you can start counting 5\, 4\, 3\, 2 for your own team to make them put something up if this happens.)\nThere will be a 10 second count in back court.\nNo backcourt press\, once a 15-point lead has been obtained 5-8 grade. 10 Point Lead 4th grade. NO pressing in 3rd grade!\nNo Zones allowed in 3rd and 4th grade. No one can be camped out in the key\, but kids can play help side defense. The ball can be double\, and triple teamed once across mid-court!\n3rd & 4th grade will be allowed to step in one full step from free-throw line when shooting free-throws\, but they can’t rebound their own shot.\nTeams will get 2 time-outs per half.  They do not carry over.  1 Time-out per overtime.\nEach team must have their own Scorekeeper.  Least travel is the official Book.\nTeams on top of bracket will be the visiting team and wear Dark uniforms.\nOvertime –   2 Minute’s     2nd Overtime –   Sudden Death.\nA Player may only be on one roster throughout the tournament.\nTie Breakers     1) Head-to-Head    2) Points Allowed   3) Points Scored\nEach team will be awarded 2 free-throws at the 7th foul of each half.\n3 min halftime\nMin 5 min warm-up\nTechnical foul – opposing team awarded 2 pts and ball. If a player or coach gets 2 technical in the same game\, they are removed from the gym and will be suspended for their very next game.\n\nAdmission Fees\nDay Passes\nFriday \n\nAdult: $5\nStudent/Seniors (62+): $3\nChildren 5 and under are free!\n\nSaturday \n\nAdult: $10\nStudents/Seniors (62+): $5\nChildren 5 and under are free!\n\nSunday \n\nAdult: $8\nStudents/Seniors (62+): $5\nChildren 5 and under are free!\n\nPlease note: 2 coaches and 1 scorekeeper\, per team\, will receive wristbands for free admission. Please wear the wristband

DESCRIPTION:Divisions: 3rd\, 4th\, 5th\, 6th\, 7th\, 8th Grade Boys 3rd\, 4th\, 5th\, 6th\, 7th\, 8th Grade Girls (Registration closes when max team limit is met) Each team will be guaranteed four games. A limited number of teams will be allowed in the tournament. Each player may play on only one team and all players should have numbers on the front and the back of their jersey. \nAAU cards are required for all participants. Cards may be obtained from: www.aausports.org \n2025-26 Official high school rules will be used\, except as follows: 1. Technical Fouls – team will be automatically awarded two (2) points plus ball out of bounds. 2. DESCRIPTION:WENATCHEE WINTER MAGIC AAU BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT GRADES 3-8 DECEMBER 13-14\, 2024 Boys’ & Girls’ Divisions: 3rd grade\, 4th grade\, 5th grade\, 6th grade\, 7th grade\, 8th grade (Deadline Dec 1st) \n  \nEach team will be guaranteed four games. A limited number of teams will be allowed in the tournament. Each player may play on only one team and all players should have numbers on the front and the back of their jersey. 2024-2025 Official high school rules will be used\, except as follows: 1. Technical Fouls – team will be automatically awarded two (2) points plus ball out of bounds. 2. No pressing (half or full-court) when you have a 15-point advantage\, EXCEPT 4TH grade 10-point\, 3rd grade no pressing 3. 2 – 20 min running periods. Clock stops last 2 min second period\, unless a 15-point lead. 4. Players may only play for one team throughout the Tournament.

DESCRIPTION:Eastmont Thanksgiving Classic\nNovember 29 through November 30\, 2025\nTo register\, please register your team on Tourney Machine website. \n2025 will be the inaugural year for our Thanksgiving Classic Tournament. It has been made an official qualifying tournament for the Washington AAU State Tournament to be held in Spokane on March 7 through March 9 (girls) and March 14 through March 16 (boys). All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Washington \nScores will be updated on the Tourney Machine application. All teams will need to provide a score keeper for each game so we can check scoresheets if there is a discrepancy in the reporting. \nT-shirts will be sold at Eastmont Junior High School. They are silk screened while you wait. You get to design your items by choosing from a variety of decals\, shirts\, sweatshirts\, sweat pants\, etc.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Give NCW nonprofit participants. \nNote that Pybus Market will not be open on Thanksgiving Day. \nRACE DAY INFORMATION\nWelcome runners and walkers to the 2024 Give NCW Turkey Trot! The Community Foundation of NCW thanks you for helping to support the Give NCW holiday campaign for local nonprofit organizations and for taking part in this great holiday tradition. \nPacket Pickup – Wednesday night/Thursday morning \n\nPacket pickup or late registration on Wednesday Nov 26th 2:00pm-8:00pm in the concourse of Pybus Public Market.\nSeveral Pybus Market merchants are offering food and drink discounts during Packet Pickup!\nYou can also pickup your packet on race day from 7:00am-8:45am – there will be NO registration day-of race.\n\nKids Race: The Kid’s Race will be located in the boat launch parking lot East of Pybus next to the race trail. Kids will line up at the North end of the lot and run 4 times around the lot\, like a racetrack. We will have volunteers to help and cones for direction. All kid racers receive a Dum Dum when they finish! \nImportant! The 10k runners will be starting at 9:15am so we ask that you muster in the parking lot and not cross the path of the runners. The 5k runners will start at 9:30am. Please be aware this area will be crowded\, so if you need to leave the area\, please be mindful of the runners as you leave the area. If you are a parent runner and need to join the race\, please don’t cross the start line or it will affect your timing. \n5k/10k Start/finish: All three races will start and finish on the Apple Capital Loop Trail adjacent to Pybus Public Market. The Kids Race will start at 9:00am in the boat launch parking lot (kids will run laps around the lot and be within sight); the 10k at 9:15am and the 5K at 9:30am. \nResults: The 5K and 10K races are being timed by Negative Split of Spokane. Results will be posted on the Negative Split website at https://nsplit.com/results/ following the race. Please note: the Kids Race is not timed. \nRunner/walker support: There will be an aid station at the turnaround spot on the 5K course and there will be an aid station at the turnaround spot on the 10K course. In addition\, tables with coffee\, water and food items will be located adjacent to the start/finish area. \nParking: There are several options for parking. People can park their vehicles in the Pybus Public Market lots\, along Worthen Street\, and in the Riverfront Park lot next to the pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks. On the other side of the pedestrian bridge there is ample parking available along Columbia Street and behind the Wenatchee Convention Center. \nPlease DO NOT park in the Worx gym lot and in the Hilton Garden Inn lot — both on Worthen Street. Those businesses will be open and you risk getting towed. Also\, please note that River Drive\, which is the street that skirts behind Pybus Market to the Orondo Avenue Boat Launch will be closed to vehicular traffic at Worthen Street. \nPlease see the map below for more on parking. \nRestrooms: Porta-potties will be located adjacent to the start/finish area\, and the restrooms in Riverfront Park and at Walla Walla Point Park will be open. \nNote: Pybus Market will NOT be open. \nRunner premiums: The first 750 paid participants in the 5K and 10K will receive a commemorative winter beanie hat – be sure to register early! \nCostume contest: The Community Foundation is encouraging people to get fun and creative with their running attire. The “Best Dressed Individual” will receive a $500 Giving Card to redeem on Give NCW\, and the “Most Spirited Group” will receive a $1\,000 Giving Card. Last year\, Golf Pro Mark Babst was able to recruit 45 teams for a day of friendly competition to raise money for our annual shop-with-a-cop event!Eastmont Elves are hand selected students\, with the help of school district staff and School Resource Officers\, that are blessed with a free Christmas shopping trip. Each student is paired with a first responder during their shopping experience\, strengthening the relationship between our local youth and those working to protect them.The students selected are those who may be going through crisis\, fighting for justice in our criminal justice system\, loss of family member or loss of employment within the family.Santa’s Stars is a non-profit on a mission to ensure no child nor their family go without during the holiday season.
