SUMMARY:The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR)
DESCRIPTION:TedDrive Overland Ultra Relay Tour\n\n\n  \n\nThe TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR)\n\nRediscover the Joy of Running\nWhat is the TOUR?\nRemember when running was pure joy—when it was about the adventure\, the camaraderie\, and the simple thrill of moving through the world? The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) brings back that old-school spirit with an epic three-day stage relay race through the stunning landscapes of North Central Washington. \nDesigned for teams of up to eight runners\, the TOUR blends competitive racing with an adventurous\, low-tech experience. No chip timing. No digital maps. Just you\, your teammates\, and a rugged course marked by singletrack trails\, logging roads\, and scenic pavement. \nEach day\, your team will tackle approximately 75 miles divided into 16 legs\, navigating with printed maps and elevation guides. Whether you’re chasing a podium finish or just out for the experience\, you’ll be part of something unforgettable—an event that is as much about community and adventure as it is about speed. \nWhy a Stage Race?\nUnlike point-to-point relays with overnight runs and risky nighttime driving\, the stage race format ensures safety\, camaraderie\, and the best routes possible. Each morning starts with all teams together\, leading to shared moments at transitions and team gatherings each night — like the early days of ultra racing. \nThe Experience – Three Days\, Three Distinct Routes\n\nDay 1: Leavenworth\, WA → Explore alpine forests\, mountain trails\, and stunning ridgelines.\nDay 2: Cashmere\, WA → Run through rolling orchards\, vineyards\, and rugged foothills.\nDay 3: Entiat to Lake Chelan\, WA → Traverse remote terrain before finishing on the shores of beautiful Lake Chelan.\n\nAt the end of each day\, teams regroup\, share stories\, and prepare for the next stage—all in the vibrant mountain towns of NCW. \nThe TOUR Vibe: Where Grit Meets Fun\n\nCompetitive & Casual Welcome → Whether you’re an elite team or weekend warriors\, the TOUR is built for all.\nOld-School Navigation → Forget GPS. Teams rely on maps\, route descriptions\, and light course markings.\nLaid-Back Atmosphere → While some teams will push the pace\, this is a race that embraces the adventure.\n\nRace Details\n\nEntry Fee: $1\,600 per team (discounts for military\, non-profits\, and student teams).\nTeam Size: 8 runners\nSupport: Teams provide their own transportation\, hydration\, and food.\nTiming: Daily start at 6:00 AM\, with cumulative team times recorded.\n\nWhat’s Included?\n\nFinisher Awards for all team members.\nEvent Photos capturing the best moments.\nCaptain’s Dinner & Pre-Race Meeting\nPost-Race Celebration with food and drinks.\n\nHow to Register\n\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION NOW OPEN! CLICK HERE\n\n\n\n\nSecure your spot when registration opens August 1\, 2025 !Year 1 is limited to 30 teams to ensure an incredible experience for all. Future years will gradually expand participation. \nCourse & Support\n\nNavigation: Teams receive PDF maps with elevation details and turn-by-turn****descriptions one week before the event. Course markings are minimal — map reading is part of the challenge!\nMedical Support: A certified medical professional (EMT) or higher will be on course daily\, coordinating with regional ER’s or Urgent Care if needed.\nFacilities: Portable toilets at designated areas. Teams must pack out all waste.\n\nSocial Impact\nA portion of TOUR proceeds supports cutting-edge cancer research and local trail building/advocate organizations dedicated to trail maintenance and outdoor recreation access. \nJoin the Adventure\nThe TOUR isn’t just a race—it’s an experience that revives the soul of running. Challenge yourself\, build lasting memories\, and explore one of the most breathtaking regions in the Pacific Northwest.

SUMMARY:2026 Wenatchee Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Race Overview\nA fast course with something for everyone. Gorgeous course\, largely on traffic free paved trails along the Columbia River. Cascade Mountain views abound. Full Marathon\, Half\, 10k and 5k categories. Walkers welcome in all categories. \nAbout TedDriven: Your participation enables us to invest in Cancer Research and Survivor Support\nThe Leavenworth and Wenatchee Marathons are operated by TedDriven\, LLC a social benefit organization that supports cancer research and local not for profits. Cancer research is a special interest of the directors. We all are connected to someone affected by cancer. Your race directors\, Lynda\, Colin\, Wendy & Ian have all been directly impacted and are committed to doing their part to fight the disease. TedDriven invests proceeds from the Wenatchee Marathon and the Leavenworth Marathon to the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia University. \nAbout Wenatchee\nAs described by the Wenatchee Valley Chamber – “We are at a confluence of two rivers\, the rushing Wenatchee and the mighty Columbia in a land enveloped by the foothills and towering peaks of the Cascades. We are a place where the earth’s geology is ever present. We have harnessed the power of our waters to power the west and cultivated our valley to give the world fruits from our orchards and wine from our vineyards. \nThe spirit of our people is the result of a place that knows how to produce. We put faith in the land to make the harvest each year and have innovated ways to share our bounty across this nation and world. Our innovation does not stop with the land; we invest in our children and believe that education is the key to our future success. \nWe live a life of abundant choices. Underneath sunny skies we take to the slopes\, the rivers\, the trails\, and the loop to ski\, kayak\, hike\, and bike. Our streets and trails are filled with sculpture bringing art to our people. We are a small town to some and big city to others. But to all\, whether visitor or local\, we provide a way to escape from everyday routines. \nWe are a place where a choice made history on the first transpacific flight. We are a place where a community chose to rally behind a vision to build a dam that would free the west. We have made a choice to embrace the future through our past in a building twice scrapped that will emerge as a market that will bring us together.; The choices here are as plentiful as the orchards are fruitful.”

SUMMARY:2025 Wenatchee Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Race Overview\nA fast course with something for everyone. Gorgeous course\, largely on traffic free asphalt trails along the Columbia River. Cascade Mountain views abound. Full Marathon\, Half\, 10k and 5k categories. Walkers welcome in all categories.
