DESCRIPTION:East Wenatchee PD is excited to partner with Highlander Golf Course and Santa’s Stars for the 3rd Annual Eastmont Elves golf tournament. Last year\, Golf Pro Mark Babst was able to recruit 45 teams for a day of friendly competition to raise money for our annual shop-with-a-cop event!Eastmont Elves are hand selected students\, with the help of school district staff and School Resource Officers\, that are blessed with a free Christmas shopping trip. Each student is paired with a first responder during their shopping experience\, strengthening the relationship between our local youth and those working to protect them.The students selected are those who may be going through crisis\, fighting for justice in our criminal justice system\, loss of family member or loss of employment within the family.Santa’s Stars is a non-profit on a mission to ensure no child nor their family go without during the holiday season.
